Notice is hereby given that the City of Scottsburg (the “City”) will receive bids pursuant to I.C. 5-22-22-5 for the sale and disposal of personal located in the City, which is described as a In Channel Spiral Screen Waste Tech/Kusters Water model ICSS-5 Screw Screen suitable for installation in 2’x3’ deep channel to handle a peak flow of 2.78MGD, and NEMA 4x 304 stainless control panel (the “Property”). Requests to view the Property shall be made to the Mayor’s Office at (812) 752-4343. The Property is being sold “as-is” and there is no minimum offering price. Purchaser will be responsible for the removal and transportation of the Property, which shall occur within thirty (30) days of the City’s acceptance of an offer. Written sealed offers will be received at the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, 2 E. McClain Ave., Scottsburg, IN 47170 until 12:00 p.m. (NOON) on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  All submissions shall be marked “Offer to Purchase – In Channel Spiral Screen” on the exterior of the submission for identification purposes.  Bids will be opened at a public meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety on August 8, 2022, at 5:30 PM at Scottsburg City Hall located at 2 E. McClain Ave., Scottsburg, IN 47170.  The City reserves the right to reject all offers and to enter into a sale agreement with the highest responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any offer.
