2025 Behind The Flow Photo Contest

We are proud to announce the 1st annual Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Photo Contest!

Help AIRW showcase the full spectrum of rural water and wastewater in Indiana. Our members understand how impressive the effort that goes into providing our state with clean, safe drinking water can be, how hard their team works and how remarkable both the sources and the technology involved can be. AIRW's Behind The Flow Photo Contest is our opportunity to show that off to the wider public.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the 2025 contest, please email your photo to alliance@inh2o.org.within the contest period (JANUARY 1, 2025 - AUGUST 31, 2025) with the subject line "2025 Behind the Flow Photo Contest". In the email, please provide the photographer of the image, as well as the location it was taken. Please ensure you read the Contest Details below for prizes and eligibility considerations.

Contest Details

Prizes

A category winner in each of the three categories will receive a $100 CASH PRIZE!
Each category winner's photo will be placed in the 2025 AIRW Training Calendar, as well as a spotlight in the Hoosier Pipeline, AIRW’s bi-annual Membership Magazine.

The top photos in each category will be put on display at the 2024 AIRW Annual Fall Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for in-person and digital voting during the week of the event. Each finalist will receive the printed photo to take home with them after the conference.

Eligibility and other considerations

Contestants must be an Alliance Member
All photos must be taken in Indiana.
Ideally, all photos must be taken in landscape format (ideal for a calendar image).
Contestants may enter multiple submissions in and across categories; however you are eligible to win only one first place prize.
Previously published material for which non-exclusive rights were granted may be entered as long as you still retain full rights to the photo.
Photos must be provided digitally and in a high resolution format of at least 300 dpi.
All entered photos may be featured on training and program materials, website and social media of the AIRW.
DISCLAIMER: By participating in this contest, entrants understand and acknowledge that this provides the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Association the ability to use, reproduce, distribute, and display my submitted photographs for promotional and advertising purposes.
