Alliance Scholarship Program

Each year, the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Association recognizes outstanding students through its scholarship program. The Alliance puts on a Clay Shoot & Golf Outing for the Scholarship Program to raise these funds. From the 2023 events last fall, $8,000 was raised, thanks to the generous Scholarship Clay Shoot & Golf Outing sponsors and participants. The Alliance has awarded four individuals a $2,000 scholarship for their secondary education endeavors in fall of 2024. Recipients must be dependents of an Alliance voting member, which are small and large water and wastewater utilities located throughout the state of Indiana. The 2024 scholarships were presented during the Annual Spring Conference at French Lick Resort on Wednesday, March 13. Eligible applicants must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States, a resident of the state of Indiana, and a dependent child of a voting member system employee.

*2025 Scholarship Application will open late Summer 2024.
