The Town of Huntertown is accepting resumes for a full-time Superintendent of Utilities
. Duties will include, but not limited to the following: Oversee water and sanitary sewer systems and infrastructure; supervise, direct and work side-by-side with utility personnel; prepare work assignments for utility personnel; assure compliance with operation and maintenance of water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, wastewater lift stations, sanitary sewer collection system and water distribution network; plow snow; able to work nights and weekends and take a rotation of on-call after hour duties; attend Utility Service Board and Town Council Meetings and work with the Town Manager and Clerk-Treasurer on budgeting.

Education: Applicant shall have a Class III Wastewater Treatment Operator License (Class IV preferred) and have, or obtain within 12 months, a WT3 Water Treatment License and a DSM Distribution License from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Additionally, Applicant must possess a valid state operator/driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
