2023 Scholarship Golf Outing & Clay Shoot Events

2023 Scholarship Golf Outing & Clay Shoot Events

Golf Outing: Hawk's Tail Golf Course in Greenfield, IN; Clay Shoot: Ossian Conservation Club in Ossian, IN

Thursday, November 2, 2023

The 2023 Scholarship Golf Outing & Clay Shoot were held a little differently this year, with our golf outing taking place on September 14th and our Clay Shoot occurring on October 17th, just before our Fall Conference. Both events were fun-filled successes!

We had the most beautiful day for the Golf Outing and had a great turnout with 22 teams! The outing was held at Hawk’s Tail Golf Course in Greenfield this year.  We started the morning off with delicious brunch from The Bearded Bagel food truck and a Bloody Mary Bar.

Triad Associates, Inc. won the golf tournament! Covalen came in 2nd, and Layne Christensen took 3rd! Our famous Longest Drive contest winner was Sam Jacobi of Covalen, and the winner of Closest to the Pin was Tony Alley of National Water Services, LLC. The winner of the 50/50 Drawing this year was Jackie Hilgartner of And-Tro Water Authority!

The Clay Shoot took place at The Ossian Conservation Club. We had a perfect fall morning for the shoot! Once again, Skip Davidson of the Town of North Liberty Municipal Utilities took home the first-place trophy. John Burgelin of Jones & Henry Engineers took second, and Jon Craig of Midwestern Engineers took third.

Thank you to all our sponsors and everyone who attended for helping to make this year's Scholarship Golf Outing & Clay Shoots events a success!
