Upcoming Classes

Alliance of Indiana Rural Water offers training classes for water and wastewater operators, as well as classes for clerk treasurers, utility boards & councils and utility managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for water or wastewater contact hours by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).  IDEM approved classes meet the Indiana State Board of Engineers criteria for professional development hours (PDHs).

Water classes are in light blue. 
Wastewater classes are in green. 
Dual Certified classes are in red. 
Events are in dark blue. 

Solving Common Water Treatment Problems

Managing tough issues in Water and Waste Water like corrosion, ammonia, high DBPs, Phosphorous removal, H2S can make an operators job extremely challenging.  This course aims to help alleviate some of these challenges by teaching methods operators can use to reduce or eliminate these issues in their water and wastewater treatment plants.
