Water Operator Certification

Alliance of Indiana Rural Water is pleased to offer exam review courses as preparation for individuals planning to take the Indiana certification exam for Water Distribution (DSS, DSM or DSL) or Water Treatment (WT1, WT2 or WT3) operator certification. All courses are 6 weeks in duration and will be offered at various locations throughout the state annually.

Exam Locations:

Ivy Tech will offer the exam any business day throughout the year (no postmark due date for submitting applications).  This is a computerized exam, and applications must still be submitted through IDEM.  In addition, IDEM has scheduled the 2018 Water Exam for Thursday, November 1, 2018 (applications must be postmarked by September 17, 2018).  This exam will be held in Indianapolis only and it a paper exam.
